Hello,
Thank you for providing USB Image Tool — it's very useful and lightweight.
I would like to request a couple of additional features that could make it even more helpful:

1. Show operation time or speed after backup/restore
It would be great if the tool could display the total time taken to complete a backup or restore operation after it finishes.
Alternatively (or additionally), showing the average transfer speed (e.g., MB/s) would also be very useful for performance comparison between USB devices.


2. Option to back up only allocated partitions
Currently, the tool backs up the entire device. It would be very helpful to have an option to back up only a specific partition instead of the whole USB drive. This would save time and storage when only one partition is needed.


These features would improve usability, especially for users working with multiple USB devices or testing performance.

Thanks for your feedback and suggestions.

1. The log tab shows start/finish times for backup, restore and verify. During processing, the speed is display in the Task section. I could add the average speed to the log output, if that would help.
2. Volume mode can backup single partitions. However, this is only useful if you can restore it to the same or similar drive with the exact partition and sector configuration. Although it is possible to do that, I would suggest to always backup the whole drive instead of having a smaller partition image, which might be not easily usable when the original drive fails.
