Zipped image

I have a bootable 8GB flash drive that I have been cloning. Every time I make changes to the image, I clone the drive again. The image only takes about 500MB. I am cloning in device mode and I know that changing the partition size is not supported. The FAQ mentioned zipping the cloned image though. Is that a built in feature, or do I just have to clone my drive and then zip it with other software. I don't see any option for creating a compressed image.

When the Save file dialog appears, you can change the file type below the file name. Imz and gz are zipped file types.

Is that a built in feature, or do I just have to clone my drive and then zip it with other software. I don't see any option for creating a compressed image.

You can choose the file type right below the text box, where you can enter the file name.
