Hi,

Thanks very much for such a useful tool, I use it all the time and it works flawlessly.

I captured an image of a bootable recovery drive on a 32gb sd card a while back but now I don't have any USB drives or SD cards large enough to restore it on to.

I have used OSFMount to check the image is ok but I have not way of restoring to boot of it.

Is there anyway I can restore it to a HDD partition?

Thanks,

Ash

What do you mean by restore it to a HDD partition? Do you want to write the image to an external USB HDD and boot from that? Did you make the image of a SD card, or did you just saved the image file to a SD card?

I will give you a bit of background. On my HP laptop I ran the create recovery backup set utility. It wanted a 32gb USB which I didn't have so I put one of my 32gb sd cards into a usb to sd card adapter. After creating the backup it wipes out the recovery partition (which is what it backed up to the usb). The problem being though my HP laptop wont boot from the usb to sd card adapter. I have created a backup of the SD card using your tool. So I am trying to restore the contents of the IMG file (including the boot information) back to the partition on the HDD either with the OS or through an external USB caddy plugged into another PC. I can't just extract the data with OSFMount because most of it is hidden.

Sorry its very confusing :? Thanks again

I ended up using PowerISO to extract the IMG file to the partition.

Thanks
