to pick up serial number of an USB-stick like CTRL-C or with mouse pointer.
If you have more then one USB-stick from a manufacturer you can separate the images by the using serial number as part of the filename of an image.
Is this feature possible in the next version(s) of USB Image? (I am hopeful.)

There is already an option to suggest filenames, that also can utilize the serial number. Just check the options tab.

Is there any possibilty to change the date format from dd.mm.yyyy into yyyymmdd,
whithout changing the date format systemwide.

Currently there is no other option but to change the system date format temporarily. I can add this to the feature request list.
