Under Windows Vista the device mode requires administrative rights. Right-click the executable and select “Run as administrator”.

If you have an encrypted flash drive, USB Image Tool can’t do anything about that. How should it, btw? You should contact the vendor of the encryption program.

I have a 4gb sandisk cruzer,, which i went after a while to check my data.. n attempted to put what i thought was the right password and the system only gave me 3 tries before my data would be permanently inaccessible… now its only giving the option to format the flashdrive.. i dont want to lose my data.. is there anyway i can retrieve my data plzz help!!!

Bei etwa 30% des Speichervorganges (auf den Stick) sieht man das Gewählte Laufwerk nicht mehr markiert und die Fortschrittsanzeige verschwindet. Klicke ich dann auf das Laufwerk, so erscheint diese Anzeige wieder. Bei etwa 60/70% verschwindet sie wieder…

Ich konnte die Fehler nicht mehr reproduzieren – ich habe aber manchmal sofort nach der Wahl der Image-Datei (für Restore) einen Fehler und muss von Vorne beginnen. (Laufwerk, Restore, Datei). Beim 2. oder 3. Mal funktioniert es dann …

Ich nehme mal an, dass ich das Restore neu starten konnte, da im Hintergrund (ohne Fortschrittsanzeige) der Vorgang beendet wurde und dies ja (derzeit) nicht erkennbar ist.

Wenn ich das nächste Mal über den Fehler (wie oben beschrieben) stolpere, dann sende ich die Fehlermeldung.

Ist der USB-Stick denn im linken Bereich noch markiert? Die Buttons für Backup und Restore sind also wieder frei? Die genaue Fehlermeldung wäre auch wichtig? Ich bekomme das problem nicht nachgestellt, selbst wenn ich absichtlich versuche, ein solches Problem zu reproduzieren.

Fehlerbeschreibung:
Ich starte den Schreibevorgang – sehe 1-2 grüne Strichlein für den Fortgang.
Dann arbeite ich was anderes (nicht am PC) – komme etwas später zurück und sehe keinen Fortschritt (leeres Feld) wo vorher die Anzeige dafür war.
Denke – ist abgebrochen (???) und klicke nochmals zum Start für das Schreiben auf den Stick
Dann gibts Fehlermeldungen….
