		<description>@Jeff: I don&#039;t know what exactly your situation is. If you start USB Image Tool and switch to device mode, you should be able to restore the empty bootsector, you can download from alexpage.de. After that, you should be able to reformat the device in the windows explorer or the control panel.</description>

		<description>Alex, the Windows version worked great.  My question:  my computer no longer recognizes the USB stick...it just doesn&#039;t show up under my computer.   It was blank to begin with, so I don&#039;t have any data I need to recover but I would like to use it for other purposes.  Is there a way to erase the patchstick and re-use the drive?</description>

		<description>Bei etwa 30% des Speichervorganges (auf den Stick) sieht man das Gewählte Laufwerk nicht mehr markiert und die Fortschrittsanzeige verschwindet. Klicke ich dann auf das Laufwerk, so erscheint diese Anzeige wieder. Bei etwa 60/70% verschwindet sie wieder...

Ich konnte die Fehler nicht mehr reproduzieren - ich habe aber manchmal sofort nach der Wahl der Image-Datei (für Restore) einen Fehler und muss von Vorne beginnen. (Laufwerk, Restore, Datei). Beim 2. oder 3. Mal funktioniert es dann ...

Ich nehme mal an, dass ich das Restore neu starten konnte, da im Hintergrund (ohne Fortschrittsanzeige) der Vorgang beendet wurde und dies ja (derzeit) nicht erkennbar ist.

Wenn ich das nächste Mal über den Fehler (wie oben beschrieben) stolpere, dann sende ich die Fehlermeldung.
